New LliureX 7.11 Live CD launched

The new LliureX 7.11 Live DVD is already available to be downloaded. This new version has been developed for Pcs lacking a DVD player but equipped with a CD one. The ISO image file shall be downloaded either from this site or from the downloads area.

For this CD to be self-sufficient, some applications have not been included though the most relevant ones such as OpenOffice and Firefox can be perfectly used. Language options have been also reduced to the bilingual Spanish- Valencian software as well as the educative programs area and some graphic programs. The programming area has also been removed from the CD. Once installed and provided that there is Internet connection available, all the programs included in the DVD will be automatically installed when updating the computer.
